Background
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, under the Renewed
Hope Agenda, set out a bold and transformative plan aimed at
rebuilding Nigeria’s economy, deepening democratic governance,
advancing social inclusion, and fast-tracking infrastructure
development. With two years into this administration, it is timely to
conduct a Mid-Term Sector Perspective Review that holistically
examine the implementation of these goals and provide a roadmap for
intensified delivery over the remaining tenure.
This review responds to growing calls for accountability, transparency,
citizen participation, and data-driven governance, serving as a national
platform to celebrate achievements, examine gaps, and consolidate
gains.
Purpose
To provide a national platform for assessing sectoral progress of the
Renewed Hope Agenda, facilitating evidence-based dialogue, and
recommending strategic actions for achieving maximum results during
the administration’s remaining years.
Objectives
Strengthening the policy role of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Document for institutional memory achievements under the Renewed Hope Agenda for submission to the Party Leadership and subsequently to the President of the federal republic of Nigeria
Review Implementation Progress: Assess the performance of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) against their declared goals under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Facilitate Inclusive Dialogue: Engage policymakers, civil society organisations, the private sector, development partners, and citizens in participatory discussions.
Enhance Data Transparency: Showcase dashboards, performance scorecards, and development indicators to drive citizen awareness.
Strengthen Policy Accountability: Promote institutional commitment to implementation through actionable recommendations and sector specific acceleration plans.
Identify implementation gaps and suggest remedial measures.
